Campaigns Overview & Best Practices


This article discusses the role of Campaigns in the creative and media process.


Campaigns are global containers for both creative and media units.  Typically, a campaign is created by the creative team, and inherited by the media team since work flows from creative first to media second.

Naming a campaign with an appropriate title is important so all parties involved can understand the context.  We suggest the following naming convention for campaigns:


Client Name - Campaign Name - Start Month - Start Year


For example, a campaign name for a new movie release could be:  Some Studio - Some Movie - August - 2017
