A1: If your ad is trafficked as a direct Addroid tag to a publisher, the ‘Default Click’ field should contain a fully formed URL. Ensure the URL includes the http:// or https:// prefix and test the URL in a browser window prior to saving the ad. If live tags have already been created, ensure you merge the changes by using the ‘Publish Changes’ feature from the Creatives tab.
A2: If your ad is trafficked through a 3rd party ad server such as DCM, the ‘Default Click’ field must be left blank in the Addroid creative as DCM controls the URL. Ensure the field is blank for all date codes as well. Save the ad, then merge the changes to live tags by using the ‘Publish Changes’ feature from the Creatives tab.
A3: If you inserted a URL in the ‘Override Landing Page’ field when the Addroid placement was created, ensure this URL is fully formed and clicks as in A1 above. For ads trafficked through an ad server such as DCM, the ‘Override Landing Page’ field must be left blank and the check box de-selected. Once placements have been updated, click 'Update Placement' to store the changes.
